About Jimmy Carroll...

That's a big claim. Let me back it up:

• I'm a lifelong island resident and went to school locally, from Sullivan's Island Elementary School through the College of Charleston.(B.A. in Political Science, 1978)
• I've been a Realtor since 1978, and a broker since 1979. I started Carroll Realty Inc. in 1981, and bought and renovated our present office location (left) in 1987.
• I am a graduate of the Realtor's Institute. (GRI)
• I'm a Certified Residential Specialist. (CRS).
• I was recognized by the Association of Realtors for exceptional sales Achievement in 1984, and
• I have been recognized ever since as a consistent top producer. 
• I am consistently in Charleston's Top 1%.

• The MLS Board of Directors all the way through to President.
• The Charleston Trident Association's Board of Directors, currently serving as President of Charleston's 2500 members.
• A Director fo the South Carolina Association of Realtors.
• Served on and chaired many committees, including Forms, MLS selection, Grievance, etc.
• The local Realtor's Professional Standards committee.
• Past President of the East Cooper Top Producer's Club.

• I served on the East Cooper Habitat for Humanity's Board of Directors.
• Starting in 2000, I made the commitment to donate the interest my company earns on escrow accounts to the East Cooper Chapter of Habitat for Humanity. We've donated over $76,000 to date! (12/2003)

Last, but not least, in fact, most importantly, I am the father of 3 wonderful sons Jimmy, Winslow and Capers, born in 1990, 1992, and 1994 respectively.  These boys are my pride and my joy.
